Shocking ref but we are also playing terribly, can't defend to save our lives and the backs don't seem like they've ever met.

We are helping him by being again poor kicking out of hand, not tackling and lacking some pace at centre. Apart from that we are great.

Turned on late, but the theme apparently is missed tackles. That’s not acceptable at this level of rugby.
Scrum looks under pressure. Sloppy decision making and execution ball in hand. All too familiar......

We got one back from the ref with the not straight lineout being let go in our 22 there.
The two tries coming from poor decisions is frustrating by we are playing in a manner that makes it feel like the tries would have come anyway. Passes not going to hand, no defensive alignment outwide, missed one on one tackles and poor kicking from hand.
To Mike Adamson's credit I like that he is allowing scrums to play through without going straight to the whistle or giving an advantage when one side is moving forwards. There's a proper contest going on between two good packs.
