I would seriously hope he isn't on the bench because of fitness. If he isn't fit he should be getting treatment, resting or rehabbing.
There is such a thing as fit enough to do 40 minutes.

I think pretty much since the restart they've been managing an issue with Taufua. Very few players are ever 100% fit a week after a rugby match, they're managing him well and with 2 back row subs I can say that with an early injury Wallace will be first on!
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Hold an edge in terms of fitness and certainly match fitness.Still expecting a war of attrition initially , but eventually believe we will see the game out with a win.Today , only the result matters , no points for style.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

I am not sure of the thinking behind it but from before lockdown we have pretty consistently been picking a lock (Wells or Green) at 6, new signings not yet seen may change the philosophy but currently starting with Harry on the blindside with two flankers to come on adding mobility as the opens up later in the match seems to be the Borthwick way.
Of course it might just be that 7's seem to get injured more often so having two back row men on the bench whilst having your replacement lock at 6 means that you can still have three replacement backs on the bench instead of going for the 8-2 split.

No. The deal with BT only covered Premiership games.

As ST holders we would still have needed to buy a ticket for this game.
Now if I recall the European matches were often on Sky however as mentioned above there is no BT matchpass offering, however those with BT can watch the match on BT3 @ 14:45 > 17:15 on Sunday, so with a bit of luck my neighbour will have his wide screen television in the conservatory and I can draw up a deckchair outside ~ all socially distanced! :smt023

According to Rugbrama, the match could be in doubt, because there have apparently been cases of Covid in the Castres club and with the sharp increase of cases in England, the Castres squad have not yet left home and are awaiting developments.
If they don't travel then I'd assume that they'd forfeit the game?

I mentioned this possibility some time ago, and assumed there was a procedure if impossible on BOTH sides. If Castres cry off, I'd assumed they forfeit.
UPDATE match forfeited, Tigers in semis.

Match cancelled due to Castres players/staff testing positive.

Tigers advance to the Semi Finals next weekend as a result of Castres having to forfeit the game.

Let’s hope none of the Castres squad are badly affected.

Got trashed a bit for saying this would happen, some sages told me it would all be over by now and I was fear mongering. 💣
