If he recovers his pre-injury form he will, he was frequently their MOM.

On a separate issue, Manu extends his Sale contract by a further 2 years to end of 22/23 season. Rumours of him taking a hefty French pay packet seems to have been greatly exaggerated.

Suspect that his injury record may have put lots of clubs off.

Richard Cockerill was apparently on a shortlist of candidates to become head coach of Top14 Clermont Auvergne, but he won't now be going, as a three-year contract has been offered to former All Black and DoR of La Rochelle, Jono Gibbes.

Ronan O'Gara, current head coach of La Rochelle will now be in sole charge. With the rise of La Rochelle, O'Gara's cv is looking impressive and if Andy Farrell doesn't take Ireland forward then O'Gara may well be one of the favourites to take over.

It seems that Pablo Matera will leave Stade Français at the end of this season, even though he still has one year left on his contract. He's apparently keen to return to Super Rugby this summer. Both he and Telusa Veainu are in tomorrow's SF team at home to Pau.

Holmes, Bateman & Costelow start in the Scarlets Dragons game.

Sounds as though Owen Williams is likely to take up a contract with Worcester Warriors next season after a season long stint in Japan. Would be replacing Duncan Weir.

Real shame that things didn’t work for him to stay with us (I know money talks...!) as he looked like a great 10/12 option. Would be good to see him back in the Premiership!

ROG might be one of the favourites to take over but would he want the job this early in his career? La Rochelle is a nice place to live as well as being rugby mad and an ambitious club. If I were him I'd consider nothing pre world cup. If he is going to take it make sure he gives himself the full four years to develop the team.

Yes,I can’t see ROG taking the top job yet. He’s picking up experience all over the world. Post 2023 maybe but I’m sure he’s happy what he’s doing at the moment. He could go on to becoming one of the worlds best at this rate!

Looks like a broken Tibia for former Tiger Will Evans. Out for a while now. Although we struggled to keep him on the pitch due to injuries, I was sad to see him move on. A real 'dog' at the breakdown. Go well Wev!

That's a real shame, he seemed to be in the form of his life down there.
