I do not like to think of players getting injuries, but I wonder if Sold are relying too much on XV. They do not have depth in squad which is ok until injuries and international calender kicks in.
They are 2nd this year but it feels a bit like all eggs one basket.
Tigers are building with depth of squad. W or L today we in it for the long haul.

Sale have the smallest squad in the league. They'd have to be paying absolutely ridiculous money to be over the cap. Being up north the cost of living is cheaper than down near London as well which helps when negotiating contracts with the local players.
Cheshire is one of the wealthiest places in the country
South and West of the stadium yes, North and East not at all.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Yep, Warrington and Crewe are in Cheshire as well as Wilmslow and the like.

But the players won't be living in Warrington and Crewe...

Anyway I expect Sale to win comfortably.
Main hope is to see more improvement really.

Genge has been frustratingly poor at looking after the ball in contact since the restart.

bad call by steward.
Awkward bounce but sometimes a 15 needs to learn when to lose the territory. Will come with game time.

Tigers getting pinged for being offside when Sale are offside themselves at the same play, the irony

Try for Sale. Tigers couldn't keep repelling the short range tap and go penalties. Lavinini offside 3 times in 30 seconds? Am surprised he didn't get a yellow, unless that got forgotten in the scoring of the try?
