Good defence, aggressive at the ruck getting plenty of turnover ball and pens, a little sloppy ball in hand, rushing the ball wide too much

They have had bulk of the possession and a lot of territory but have turned the ball over a few time’s in promising positions. Our lineout and scrum looks solid once again but they look dangerous in broken play. Decent first half from the lads, shame about Wells and MartinJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 6:57 pmGood defence, aggressive at the ruck getting plenty of turnover ball and pens, a little sloppy ball in hand, rushing the ball wide too much

Re: London Irish
How can you block a man who was coming from the side.
Re: London Irish
What use are scrums when the 9 throws the ball at right angles down to 8?

Swansea (Whites) 1988-95

Re: London Irish
Seems a tad harsh that we get a yellow after constant Irish pulling the scrum down and being warned.
There is never any points for 2nd place...

Re: London Irish
My thoughts exactly!
Wallace is trying to get round to be back onside and Irish number 3 comes in at the side!
Re: London Irish
Agreed that Irish should have had a yellow at scrum but Green's tackle stopping a try makes it an easy yellow. I actually felt we were lucky to escape without a pen try.Dr H Flashman MBE wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 7:27 pm Seems a tad harsh that we get a yellow after constant Irish pulling the scrum down and being warned.
The Reffell offside soon after was pretty cynical too tbh!

Re: London Irish
It’s quite scrappy. We seem to be playing within ourselves and I don’t mean this at disrespectfully to Irish, but giving them too much respect.

Re: London Irish
Need 3 points just to get us over the line. What had happened to this great club?
