How long is the delay for? I do like the idea that it's a 13 team team next season and then a 14 team the year after. Another tick in an already list of good boxes!

The vote. Although it’s nailed on anyway,it only needs 7 ayes.

Supposedly the delay is due to BT voicing strong objections to the idea of ringfencing.

Well that could be a spanner in the works for it. If there's any risk to the TV deal moneypot then I don't think it's a sure thing at all

Would the GP teams/shareholders have been that stupid to have renewed the BT deal recently without discussing ringfencing? I very much doubt that mate

Well done BT. Don’t back down. Scrap the voting. Keep relegation!

Who doubted it? It will get done,no doubt about that. Concessions somewhere along the line will have to be made but does anyone honestly think the 12 current Prem teams and Sarries who are a shareholder and would’ve had some kind of say wouldn’t have discussed ringefencing when they have only just very recently extended the BT deal? Hahahah behave yourself,it’s all posturing. It will happen or I will delete my account and never post again.

I do wonder, given this is a vote for this season only. If the vote is delayed, say 2 months, if one or two teams fall away from the pack and only 2 teams are say at risk of relegation, would other clubs no longer at risk, go against the wishes of the league's biggest funder?
