Just seen the club tweet that he has passed away.
Remember him for being a real nugget of a player, back row of Forfar, Kempin and Adey is one of my early Tigers memories

Sad news.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Sad to hear the news of Daves' passing.
I knew Dave prior to his time at Tigers.
He was a keen Judoka and represented Leicester Judokwai (which was then in Bond Street) at competition level.
He was super keen to play rugby for Tigers and gave up Judo to concentrate on his tenure.
I found him very personable and a very committed sportsman.
He would appreciate and epitomise Club First Tough Strong and Passionate.

Yes, I well remember Dave. He was a fine player, who gave his all to the club. Very sad news indeed.

Very sad to to hear of Forf’s passing.. yes another back row legend of Tigers sadly gone.
He’ll also be greatly missed at the Royal Oak at Cossington.

Great player and really lovely gentleman.
I enjoyed watching him always give his all in a Tigers’ shirt.
All the best to his family.
