Player of the year in 2015 may not be long ago to most of us but to a rugby player it is about 30% of his career. Age 27 in your prime, 32 past it.

Undoubtedly he’s made the right decision with a two-year contract with an up and coming ProD2 club, and I think the charming town of Vannes may just have the upper hand over Leicester!

They had the Fiat Punto as European car of the year once and that made no sense to me either!Robespierre wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 11:03 amHmm, he was declared best European player of the year in 2015 which ain’t so long ago.mol2 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 8:50 amNot sure we needed "Trip" Abendanon. We got rid of Varndell because he couldn't tackle and he's defensively worse and offesnsively poorer.kk20gb30 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 7:37 am Immaterial now , and not exactly going to lose sleep over it ,but apparently Nick Abendanon turned down both ourselves and London Irish to remain in France:

Anybody know if there is anything in this (scroll through the images), I thought R92 had ruled themselves out already?

Anything in what?
Looks like person just doing some art asking people what team would they like a player in.

More in the selection of teams, I hadn't heard Boffelli actually linked to us before?RagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:16 pm Anything in what?

Really good LTTV, watched it this morning. Dan Cole had stitches in his eyelid after splitting it open in training ! Seems like it’s been feisty this week, like the old days. Great snippets from Borthwick, big focus on effort, energy and physicality. Reading between the lines, it may be that we are focusing on a few aspects to get us competitive and the squad together then the other bits and pieces work on for next season. Matt Smith interview as well. All in all very positive across the board.

I'll drink to that. Cuppa of course.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 6:44 am https://twitter.com/Argentina_2027/stat ... 76712?s=19
Looks like there may be delays to Montoya's announcement. Though I have no issues with that, I'll just be glad when it's confirmed we're getting a top quality international.

Remember Ryan from my time at John Cleveland College, always seemed like a decent lad and I'm glad to see him back

Yeah they used to hang around a lot at JCC, can't remember if there were any other Tigers Academy lads at the school at that time but it was a hell of a school teamMark62 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 6:34 pmManus bestie if I remember correctly. Good shout as 3rd choice loosehead with plenty of premiership experience.

With Genge and Gigena two 25 year old International looseheads 3rd choice just needs to be really Solid and cost effective.
When you work in Leatigaga can cover and Whitcombe coming up.
It makes sense IMO.
