I reckon Dimen is ready for some premiership game time if needed. The guy is massive and always plays well for Loughborough.

It’s been almost 10 years since we’ve had a quality squad with strength in depth. Although next season might the first where we actually see an upward trajectory in performances. Massive hats off to McGinty to assemble a much improved group of players.

I imagine Wiese will be announced alongside Montoya.....

Centre I think depends on Moroni availability, we have Taute, plus some of the new additions
Well we have
12. Scott, Hardwick
13. Moroni, Taute, Porter

Now we have outside backs who can cover those positions but our outside backs are not that stacked really either.
George Worth would be capable of playing 12 or 13 quite comfortably. Steward played 13 before switching to 15 and SAP played 13 a bit before getting injured. Nadolo can play 12 and has done for Fiji. I'll happily take one less centre if it means we are beefing the pack up and giving opportunities to some of the younger guys.

Does the pack need much more beefing up?
Montoya
Wiese
Hopefully a new Loosehead.

What would it really need next?

Maybe some other project signings.
That would tick the boxes nicely for me, and close out the squad very well.
Roughly two senior players per position (natural positions, not filling in), maybe some extra in attritional positions, then a good number of developing or developed homegrown players ready to challenge for those spaces.
Getting another prop, gives us 6x senior props plus 2x development options already getting open age rugby. With Leatigaga able to play either side, there is flex in the side we recruit, however given Cole is starting to drop out of the International picture as Genge is becoming a regular, LH maybe a more pressing demand.
Scott is our only senior 12. Others can fill in, but they may be required in their natural positions. A hard carrying 12 would give us the right balance of depth I think. We have 3x 13’s in Taute, Moroni and Porter, but only Scott at 12. Hardwick or Nadolo could fill in, but as team aspiring to get back upwards we should have more than one specialist 12.

Well either a 12 or a 13 and Taute goes to covering 12 more which he did a fair bit at Munster.

Zack Henry looks capable of playing at 12 or 13. He's a sturdy lad, quick feet and likes to run with the ball. Gives a further kicking option, too.

Obviously not sure about his defence, though.

Flyhalf. Ford, Henry, McPhillips, Hardwick.
Twelve. Scott, Harwick, Henry, Worth. Nadolo,
Thirteen. Taute, Moroni, Scott, Worth, Olowofela, Nadolo. Van Wyl, Steward.

I have listed them as I thought of them not in any order of preference. So many players are versatile enough to cover several positions. Our squad is starting to look very strong, I think we need to see them playing before we know where improvement is required. I do feel that Whitcombe and Deman are ready for some experience at the top level to show their abilities.

Would rather see Whitcombe in the championship first.

Has Henry played 12?
15 yes but not seen him mention he can play 12 or seen him play 12

Jasper Wiese just confirmed by the club app
No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

I think he'll land with us in October, which isn't too bad really.
