Jordan Taufua follows him on Instagram.
I that confirms it.

You would have to assume it's an excellent sign.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 8:47 am https://mobile.twitter.com/Argentina_20 ... 7704024064
So he got the Alemanno and Orlando rumours spot on. Here’s hoping for the Moroni transfer.......

I got the impression from hearing Jan McGinity speak that he was also targeting/expecting a big ball-carrying forward (I imagined at No 8) to be amongst the imminent signings.

Extra ten grand? You are missing a zero and then need to double it. Wages aren't high in NZ but players demand quite a bit to head abroad. Will Jordan would at a guess want £250-£300k to leave NZ now. His stock is so high and he's on the verge of an AB call up.

Skills for communicating with the ref and then interpreting to your squad is a key requirement. Borthwick was a genius at that, always in the refs ear with the right questions without over stepping the mark. Ford/Taufua would work, or if Wells were to be a first choice starter I think he'd do a great job as a vice captain.Chobbsy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 9:35 amJT for captain for me, if he told you to do something....would you argue?happywomble wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 9:52 pm I suppose one question would be if you wanted a captain who is likely to be away during international windows/games or who will be still at Welford Road all season. Both Liebenberg and Reffell fit the latter although if Reffell really kicks off, we may start losing him in a seasons time to Wales duty
One thing you can say about Tom Youngs is he gives it his all

I doubt he'd leave NZ for £1m right now.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 10:10 amExtra ten grand? You are missing a zero and then need to double it. JP14 is better than me at super 14 players but Caleb Clark is tearing it up for the blues, plus there’s always Leicester Faingunuku (sorry about the spelling) who was a big star at u20 but on the verge of the Crusaders squad at present

I’d imagine he follows Whitelock and Sevilla Rees too, are they comingRagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 9:49 am Jordan Taufua follows him on Instagram.

Caleb Clarke!RagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 8:52 am Any super rugby back 3 players who are impressing currently?
Winger and full backs.
Formerly of Burbaaage (not Inkleh), now up north at uni

Close enough, Fainga'anuku. A name previously mentioned on the forum purely for his forename but is an excellent winger. Apart from Clarke, Jordan & Mark Telea (who is eligible for All Blacks, Boks or Samoa), the wingers in Aotearoa haven't really been setting the world on fire but Sean Wainui of the Chiefs is a talented player too.

Don’t think Jordan will come for a second, but he is only 22 and at the moment you would guess that he is behind at least both Barretts and DMac in the All Blacks pecking order. Couple of seasons to broaden his rugby education, and earn some dollar, and return to New Zealand in time for the next World Cup.
We can but dream.

Jordan was also benched behind Havili this week, though that may have just been rotation.
Caleb Clarke has been going well.
The other one earning decent reviews, albeit not prolific yet, would be Jona Nareki of the Highlanders. Coincidentally both Nadolo and Fainga’anuku’s brothers are also at the Highlanders.
