I’m sure I read a couple of months back about Super League requesting Government assistance to the tune of £15 million due to effects of the pandemic

If my memory is correct the salary cap per club in league is way less than union.
£2.1million I think.

Everyone and everything is suffering.The effects of our current situation are going to be made apparent for years to come.Sport really is of small importance in the overall scheme of things which to me makes the clubs present situation and internal squabbles even more unfathomable.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

The salary cap in League used to be a percentage of turnover that the Clubs took. This was to protect the business function and the playing function.

I reckon that is how it should be.
It also encourages to build on the community aspects in my opinion.
