For arguments sake, I’ll assume SB does just that. In the 3 intervening years, I expect Tigers will have been a success and we’ll be far more attractive to a good quality coach to take over. If not, SB can jog on and we won’t miss him. Either way, him heading to England wouldn’t be a disaster.wellstiger wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 9:14 am If and only If SB does a remarkable job over the next two seasons, does he jump into EJ shoes in 2023?
Then Tigers are back to the drawing board.
How long has SB signed up for?
I know sport is fickle and only a few are in it for the long (ish) haul and that any one involved as in all walks of life move on.
But I thought Tigers had a mid to long term plan to get us back to the top ? So how does that work?
Seems to be even more questions than answers- don't you think?

Going to take sometime to adjust to him in Tigers Gear.
To win is not as important as playing with style!
Re: Steve Borthwick
I am sure by now that the responsibility of head coach has now rested heavily and firmly on his shoulders. Best wishes to him and I Hope and trust he can begin the mammoth job of finally turning our great clubs fortunes back to winning ways.

Hoping that he will wear a tracksuit and that Smurf will transition to a business suit!
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

Well, you say welcome. Apparently he wasn't allowed off the M1 and was turned away from the city limits (IAMTU)
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game
Re: Steve Borthwick
I did wonder if something may happen like that. He’d have been better off coming at at Junction 20 and coming down through Blaby
Re: Steve Borthwick
I bet he's chuffed to find he is walking into an even bigger mess than he envisaged.
No May, Tuillagi, Vainu & Taufua.
Most replacents presumably already contracted for next season.
He will reach hero status if he keeps us up next season.

Re: Steve Borthwick
If we can't finish above at least one other side next season I would be amazed.
It might actually be easier to implement a new style of play with players who are more likely to stick to the script.

And if those others have been acting like prima donnas then it may be a lot easier to build a proper team spirit without them?Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 7:39 pmIf we can't finish above at least one other side next season I would be amazed.
