I know what you mean, but all these players committing their future to the club can only be a good thing

Unless it happens to be the last one, it is not good need on Manu and JT. If a deal has been reached, it is not one that can be hidden to be revealed at an opportune moment as they would be seen at Oval Park every day, which would not be the case if they remain stood down. Not as if they can afford to miss a week or more of training to tie in the reveal with the kit launch.

It has been really good news over the last few days and everyone associated with the outcome should be recognised for their work. I think the issue is that everyone assumed we were keeping these players anyway and the key questions around Tuilagi and Taufua are still overshadowing the news.

There has been no news on any of the other 5, so we’ll wait and see. Taufua is possibly still in isolation, but that being said I think the extended deadline ended yesterday

We're already over the quota. There were five Academy lads, five on Monday and four yesterday plus the two so far today, which is 16.
Unless the academy lads don’t count, in which case there are four more still to go. Or the 15 is just a smokescreen...

Imagine he’ll retire end of next season. Wouldn’t be surprised though if it wasn’t Dan Cole though.

I would imagine it’s an ever changing picture at the moment, and that 15 said by Andrea has increased.

Manu and JT, I just hope that they aren’t trying to hold out on a deal from Beziers, which some in the french press are saying might not happen, and almost holding the club to ransom.

France have just announced salary cup reductions over the next few years, l so might not be as much cash available

Many pictures of pigs on OTY Instagram, I think he will retire.
2 year deal for The Polar Bear, and he’ll be 35

On top of what we’ve asked of him, Ben is equally as committed to playing a senior role in this club and mentoring the next generation of players in not only his position but across the senior, development and academy squads.”

Yep, roll out the skipper at the end. I feel I should be pleased with these announcements but I was expecting/hoping for something else. I was hoping to dip into the tin and see some custard creams, but there were only Rich tea in there.

Absolutely and Matt Scott mentioned how he and Ford are huge leaders and drivers of performance in training.
Can think of one forum user who is going to be happy though

Need to be careful with Rich tea, soon go soggy and drop in your brew
