Certainly welcome - new eyes on the situation should be good but don't really know much about him but certainly moving Mike to defence is exactly the right move. It is where he did all of his International and Lions roles with outstanding success.

Oh wow! Amazing, first time that Tigers have ever had a proper coaching group?

First time they’ve not all been ex-Tigers players or friends of the head coach...... this time we’ve actually gone out and recruited properly in the coaching department.

Exeter have shown how important a great coaching team is. On paper we’ve had a really good squad the past three seasons but it’s not worked out.

Also, first time for a while that it seems the Board has invested significant resources to the coaching team in a planned, structured way, rather than just 'firefighting'.
Taylor seems to be a bit of a gamble in that he has not had any top level Northern Hemisphere experience, but he does seem to have coached winning teams. Swapping Mike Ford back to defence looks a sound move.

Indeed welcome .Fresh eyes, fresh ideas.
Moving Mike Ford to Defence coach is also a good move in my view.Proven quantity and ability.High class in the role.
Again, every reason for optimism , looking ahead.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Taylor is an interesting recruit. Although not coaching at the top of the game and given his background, I wonder how much of his role (alongside the direct duties of the attack) will be nurturing the young talent into the squad.

I wonder if Bondi had anything to do with this? Probably not but just a thought.

Only just recalled this, but didn’t Whitcombe and Eveleigh play for Sydney Uni last summer.
