Sam Edwards
Harry Glynn
Emeka Ilione
Jack Rowntree
Archie vanes
Kit Smith
Promoted

Ben Muncaster and Ollie smith are the biggest surprises.
Literally know clue why Olilie Smith wasn't makes no sense what so ever. Although will have to give Tigers the benefit of the doubt given I think they have ended up being spot on with the academy so far.

Another 9 in Edwards.
Wonder if Simmons might be looking at covering 15 more?
Kit Smith replacing Eveleigh as a more physical openside.
Harry Glynn coming in for Costelow TBF Glynn been playing a lot for the a team and Lions instead of the U18's so he must have something about him.
Most relieved to be keeping hold of Ilione, IMO a player we could plan to build around in a few years.

Am amazed Muncaster didn't make the cut, the only thing I can think is he may be off to a Scottish Academy?

Potentially.
I suspect he would've ended up playing for Scotland in the end the English talent pool just being that much bigger.
So could well be a factor.

Aled Walters leaving the boks "for a UK club" - now he would be a good addition to the coaching set up.

As I'm stuck at home and bored I thought I would drop a completely random name in to stir up a discussion:- Damian Mckenzie???

I was always under the impression that 7 academy players had been offered contracts and Muncaster was 1 of them. Must have decided to join another development squad, presumably Scottish.

After Costelow leaving, not surprised Glynn got a spot. We should have a very strong development team next season who should be laying down some markers. Especially with the additions of Henderson and Kelly, should be tearing it up.

Well spotted - and he'd certainly be a good addition :smt023

Agree completely on Smith and Muncaster. Given we've struggled for centres coming through since Manu I was delighted by the prospect of Smith and Dan Kelly playing some A-team rugby together.

The only thing I can think is that Muncaster will be announced on a SRU academy stage 3 contract being partnered with a Super 6 club to put him in the window for Edinbugh/Glasgow. The same path that Sam Grahamslaw went down in other words.

Ilione reminds me of Itoje coming through the age grades. Very physical and athletic with a excellent skill set and a natural leader. Vanes and Ilione have the potential to be top internationals in my opinion.

Mcphillips has had his contract extended.
Very skilful player who I don’t think we’ve seen the best of yet

RB, just curious - is David Mele still on the coaching staff?
I thought he was brought in last year as a specialist coach to work with the half-backs throughout the club - academy up to first team squad.
He is not listed on the 'management team' page of the Club website - maybe he is formally assigned to the academy?

Pretty sure he is.
I believe his remit is Academy backs coach that also coaches the 9's not the other way around, and the club don't list the academy coaches.

Would be a interesting Backs coach.
I felt that Quins attack was always their strongest suit especially their fast offloading game.
