Peter Tom YouTube

Post by Mark62 »

There is what appears to be a video interview lined up to play, with Peter Tom, on YouTube to start at 6pm.

Be interesting what he has to say.

Nothing beats cynicism and rumour like a bit of transparency!

Well done to Peter Tom - and Bondi!

Never trusted the Mail - or anyone who reads it - but I was still surprised to see how they dishonest they have become recently. A good example is their slandering of James Cracknell.

Just spent 40 mins listening to this interview and am now even more hopeful of a good return to the old glory days sooner rather than later. PT did say that there are more signings to be announced over the next few weeks so looking forard to hearing who we have signed.

Thought it was a really good piece and well done Peter Tom for putting his head above the parapet.
Cleared a few matters up and showed to me he is a true Tiger at heart, especially the part about standing on the pitch side at midnight.
It’s always nice to know more but confidentiality on both a business and personal level is essential.

Well done Bondi, he was obviously a bit nervous asking the big boss questions, just next time ask him if he can sit on a chair that doesn’t move around so much

Well delivered piece which served a number of good purposes including dispelling a few myths about the Club's committee arrangements. Very interesting to compare with other clubs whose financial considerations are so different; illustrated, for example, by how the CVC windfall was handled. Like all good Chairmen, knows the value of having the right mix of experience, skills and personality around him.

Really good interview, I agree with Tom that Tigers were beginning to turn a corner before coronavirus hit but never mind.

You know, Mark, you know, I think I agree with you there, you know, it was a good interview, you know, it would have lasted half the time, you know, if he sat still and cut out the you knows.

But just joking there, it was a good general open confirmation of what most genuine loyal supporters believe of him and the club.

Nice little dig at those genuine ,loyal supporters who only question things because of their love of the club?!

Love that question- Were you as a board receiving as much credit when Tigers were successful as you get criticism now? Fantastic question!!

No. By saying "most genuine...", he acknowledges that there are genuine, loyal supporters who hold different views of Peter and the board.
