Despite doing well vs Watson etc, he’s behind him, Daley and Furbank as well, who Eddie is keen on. Lions ? No.
:smt043 behind Furbank. I don't think he's in direct competition with Watson either as he'll be on the wing opposite May. I think we'll see Steward in the squad but probably as much to gain experience than replace Daly. Unless there's some injuries than he might get his shot.

Agree it's to early for Lions talk and there are two obvious stand outs in Liam Williams and Hogg before we start considering the likes of Larmour. If there's any summer games for England than I can see him getting games then.
Tbh I doubt there are many outside Tigers diehards who even have him on their radar. The same with Reffell and Wales.

On David Flatman's team of the week think he's been in it 3 rounds out of 6, 2 of the times he didn't make it were when Tigers didn't play.

Plenty of people are watching him...

This for me makes the most sense. If played there, there will still be some sense of the series being a tour, and then you would hope there will still be full stadiums come July.

Would make more sense to play Aus though, and switch SA to 2025

Watching any rugby in these times is always a good thing , however for me it is always about The Lions going into opposition territory - the test of strength and resolve to battle against all the odds...
Should we/they not be able to tour as planned then if poss lets try to re-schedule otherwise lets leave it be and wait for better times.
Personal opinion only.

For me the wrong decision, having a "tour" in the UK or a postponement just isn't worth the hassle for the sake of having the series.

Remaining options following Australia being rejected as hosts are :
Cancellation
Postponement
'Home Tour' - UK Venues
'Closed Door' tour of South Africa - based around original itinerary.
Taking into account original schedule a decision has to be forthcoming soon.

My wings would be Watson and May with Liam Williams at full back. Hogg too short as South Africans will launch up and unders all day long with him at full back. Also Sinckler not good enough in the scrum against their huge front row

Can’t see Ford getting picked for the squad and I would have Farrell at inside centre after the performance he put in at the weekend.
