Personally I reckon Genge, Ford, Tuilagi & B.Youngs will go to South Africa, not too sure on May for some reason.

Obviously a huge amount of rugby to be played but it wouldn’t surprise me if just Genge and May went from Tigers

Good list JP ... front five difficult to imagine too much different, unless father time finally catches AWJ then Ryan can step in.
I am not as impressed as some with CJ Stander. Would be nice to see if Hamish Watson can be given a chance somewhere ??Gatland won't leave Farrell out and also likes Jonathan Davies but Manu if fit is 100% in of course.

So are we picking our pick or who we think Gatland will pick?

The title suggests it’s who we would pick but you then base yours on who you think Gatland will pick. :smt017

If AWJ even plays let alone being captain I won't bother watching!

Agree. If that's your picks it's a poor side imo.

I think Manu will go if fit of course, Youngs it does depend. I'm not sold on May going, obviously he's been world class since the last Lions tour but I'm just predicting that Gatland will favour his Welsh wingers.

The problem for me is No8, both Vunipola and Faletau are liabilities injury wise and haven't played consistent good rugby in a while. Scotland doesn't really have a big Number 8, neither Moriarty or Stander are tearing up trees. Gatland might select Sam Simmonds but lack of true international exposure will hurt his chances. Whatever the case, the options for the rearguard looks weak in my opinion.

AWJ shouldn't have gone to New Zealand mate and was part of the reason the Lions lost the 1st test.

I'd start with Englands front row, maybe Furlong instead of Sinckler and I would definitely play the Kamikaze kids, whoever starts at 8 depends on form,Itoje obviously starts too. The 9,10,12,13 gets tricky but my back 3 is easy May,Adams and Hogg
1.Mako
2.George
3.Sinckler/Furlong
4.
5.Itoje
6.Underhill
7.Curry
8.
9.
10.
11. Adams
12.
13.
14.May
15.Hogg

Navidi is an option at 8 JP.
