Yes you are right. It isn't a proper redundancy situation, its more a breach of contract.

But in this circumstance you allow for a gap of a couple of months, where you make use of academy and loan players, prior to hiring someone new.

The whole scenario is fraught with risk from both sides.

Good clarification but if you have five tighthead props you can claim to only need or can only afford four and, after careful examination, get rid of the one you want to go. And if in six months time (or less) circumstances 'change' and you decide you need another one who just happens to be cheaper...
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game

Possibly depends how job roles are defined in professional rugby and how the lawyer thinks that could be argued in court.

I keep thinking that we have reached the lowest low we can. And we keep finding a new one. Hugely frustrating to be in a situation where the whole fan base knows their are some pretty nightmare scenario talks going on and all the club will communicate is something to do with Bingo.

I would hope from Genges humorous tweets he is sticking around.

Cole gets some stick but he's been an amazing servant to Tigers.
You think how much he might have gotten in france.

Totally agree. I’m sure he’s been on a decent whack but he could probably have doubled his money in France. Leicester boy through and through, and although people say he is a penalty machine he is vastly in credit on that account.

Wrongly in my view ranked behind both Castro and White by some fans.

Saints added to the list of clubs managing to do this without bringing the club down and embarrassing the supporters.

What club has done that, because if you inferring it’s Tigers any embarrassment has been caused by posters on here random guesswork, poor journalism and someone, my guess would be a player, leaking confidential information

It’s because the media likes to talk about big clubs, not small ones. It’s more of a story that there could be a number of players leaving the country’s biggest and most successful club. No one really cares about the small club :smt003
