Yes you are right. It isn't a proper redundancy situation, its more a breach of contract.

But in this circumstance you allow for a gap of a couple of months, where you make use of academy and loan players, prior to hiring someone new.

And if in six months time (or less) circumstances 'change' and you decide you need another one who just happens to be cheaper...

It’s because the media likes to talk about big clubs, not small ones. It’s more of a story that there could be a number of players leaving the country’s biggest and most successful club. No one really cares about the small club
