Blaine Scully Retires

Post by kpj tiger »

Blaine Scully has announced that he has retired from professional rugby, Personally I think he was one of our greatest pickups of the last decade, I remember him playing for us at the Prem 7's and hoping we'd sign him up permanently and was over the moon when we did, just wish he'd stayed a bit longer. Hopefully he finds a role within US rugby as he is just the kind of guy they need to help grow the game.

Absolutely - was a really talented guy. Such a shame he's had to call time on his career.

Me too. At times the one player up for it and chasing any kick or loose ball.

Agree with all the comments. Super player to watch, always up for it and could sprint, making what might have been a hopeless cause look pretty good. I liked his line out throw ins in the 7s as well! Good luck for your future, Blaine.

Very good player, perhaps a contradictory statement but he was the best defensive winger I think I've ever seen, cant ever recall him being beat if I'm honest. Good luck Blaine!

Always thought he was a bit underrated and wished he'd stayed at Tigers longer. Good luck to him :smt023
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.
