No, he said on TV yesterday that they would be have a debrief in the game today then the players will be going back to their clubs. So that’s a bonus. A fresh Genge for a start.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 1:20 pmare the England players back? I would imagine he is but to what end. Next internationals are in Japan and the squad for that will bear very little resemblance to the 6 nations squadJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 1:20 pmare the England players back? I really don't understand why we brought back Callum Green. Very very average.

he currently doesn't appear to be any better than Wells and is probably being paid a lot more than himDangerous4 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 2:41 pm I really don't understand why we brought back Callum Green. Very very average.

And yet last season was one of the best performing locks in the Prem. He's also spent some time out injured this season.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 3:27 pmhe currently doesn't appear to be any better than Wells and is probably being paid a lot more than himDangerous4 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 2:41 pm I really don't understand why we brought back Callum Green. I'm not writing him off, that would be foolish, but as things stand his signing has been a poor piece of business, we have done far too many of those recently, hopefully Borthwick coming in will sort the pack out finally and Green will thrivelonglivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 3:41 pmAnd yet last season was one of the best performing locks in the Prem. Signing useless players is not a recent thing, although we do seem to have signed a fair few the last few years, anyone remember Gareth Raynor the rugby league try scoring machine.....

Correct and until we swallow our own medicine we will continue to suffer the inevitable consequences. If we actually do spend up to the cap we have no excuses to still not have a squad to rival the likes of Sale and Exeter for example?

I fold! Except I still feel Taute may have something to give. And at J P Pietersen I nearly passed out! I think the memory of that much vaunted super winger is what sent me into this debate in the first place!
