Ireland's men's and women's Six Nations games against Italy in Dublin on 7 and 8 March have been postponed because of coronavirus.

Inevitable outcome after the recent announcement that much of the rugby playing North of Italy is "locked down". Hard to see how this situation is going to improve in the near future so I imagine the 6N executive is having to look at the competition as a whole to find a fair approach. Sad to say, we might end up reverting to 5N for this year?

So. If it went back to 5, they'd have to scratch all games v Italy and Wales will be competing against Scotland for the wooden spoon.
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….
