Tigers vs Worcester

Kalamafoni, Taufua, Taute and White all doubts for this weekend's game. The South African centre hasn't broken a bone so he can't be out for that long.

This is our bogey team, a jolly odd thrashing will do nicely, but I think a win is a more realistic target.

Bit of an 8 pointer this one. We really could do with winning this one.

Really hoping when I get to Welford Road ion Saturday that Kalamafoni, White, are fit: if not I fear it will be a long afternoon.
Maybe time for Kerr, Heyes, Worth and certainly Hardwick to start!
This really is a must win game against a nearly full strength Worcester side!

Perhaps Joe Thomas or Viljoen will be given a shot at outside centre?

Apparently, Kalamafoni, White, Taufua and Taute are all not fit. No word on Thompson, but assuming he is still out, we are looking thin on the ground for back rowers. Maybe bring Lewis and or Batley into the squad?

Viljoen has struggled so far but Thomas has looked solid and unspectacular. I'd like to see Thomas given a go with Worth on the bench. Wasn't impressed by Hughes outing enough to think he warrants the bench spot.

It's going to be a tough game at the weekend. I'd very much agree with the idea of Kerr starting as we need to compete at the breakdown hard. Worcester can lose their discipline (just like we did Vs Sale) and we need to encourage that early doors and let the crowd help paint a picture to the ref.

Those absent versus Sale had their reputations enhanced for free.Who does not matter we just want and need to win.
Specifically on the evidence of last Friday we could do with Taute recovering.
Defence from open play and picking up of deep lying runners vital , also vital is learning not to kick the ball straight to Chris Pennall. In the past three games against Worcester seems we've given the ball to him more than our own - and paid the price for doing so.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Taute is unlikely to feature, personally I wouldn’t risk him.

Taute definitely out.
Hearing White also, Kalamafoni still showing symptoms and Taufau will not play every game having played so many already this season.

I think its also worth bearing in mind that the teams are selected on Tuesdays usually - So its fairly likely that all the doubts are actually confirmed as out....

Leaves us very thin this weekend in certain areas - ie back row and centre
Less is more....

Not going to even try and pick a squad for this but I thought the attack was shocking against Sale.
I'd like to see Worth more at 10, Olowafela tried more at outside centre in attack as he has serious attacking potential to cause confusion for opposition defenders when moving onto the ball and running at pace with another runner on the outside, and Veainu on the wing with Holmes at full back.

I'm sure it's just my bias, frustration, wanting us to do well and then seeing players such as Taufua unavailable, but do we tend to have more players crocked than other clubs. Our front line players always seem to be injured. Which seems to undermine consistency of selection. I never have much clue what team Tigers will put out.

Repeat - I guess its just in my head.
