Where are the changes then?! Apart from an improved maul at times it's been aimless kicking and running into brick walls, can't remember us running any back moves whatsoever. It's been turgid stuff for the most part!

Changes? Yes even worse than last season.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Ok - apologies for not stating, for the avoidance of doubt, that “changes” meant “changes for the better” etc.
Rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic wouldn’t have made a difference but having a different captain might.
In football, gifted players seldom make good coaches eg Bobby vs Jack Charlton. Is it any coincidence that ex-rugby players lacking a little flair are the better coaches eg Richards, Cockers, Diamond, Baxter etc?
Exeter’s team seems to be greater than the sum of its parts but quite the opposite for Tigers now. Why would that be?

Does Ted Hill have some kind of forcefield that stops Tigers players tackling him, thats the last 4 times we've played them that he's swatted defenders aside with ease

George Worth really struggling with defence at 13, just got cut to shreds by a very impressive Ollie Lawrence, TV saves the day but we give a penalty away. 8-8 with a min left
Re: Tigers vs Worcester
Hopefully we can get at least a LBP at home against those Wuss giants!

Re: Tigers vs Worcester
It's a great line by Lawrence but Worcester are getting a nice platform to play off, second week in a row Bateman looks to be well off form. Might be time to get the big Samoan on to help Dan but some pressure on. Giving an experienced flyhalf like Weir a rapid unit like Lawrence with good ball is always going to cause problems. Only a matter of time before Lawrence is playing for England.
Generally Worcester have possession but aren't doing a lot with it. We are keeping them in the right areas of the park for us and backing our defence which is looking alright. When we try and play through the backs McPhillips looks out of his depth and we look better when Eastmond is standing at first receiver and we don't look good then. White at least looks on the ball.

Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
Re: Tigers vs Worcester
This has been the story of the season, we have a reasonably good defence going by points conceded (think i made it to be 5th or 6th best before this game) but we are the lowest on points scored, our attack has been woeful all season and I'm really failing to see what we are trying to dosam16111986 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 3:56 pmGenerally Worcester have possession but aren't doing a lot with it.
