Everyone everywhere is raised by Sweet Caroline, we are so down at moment, this would lift us.
Not everyone.
Other rugby union (and other sports - Bumble in cricket is associated with it for example) clubs also play/sing this, it's generic, not related in any way shape or form to Tigers so in reality, IMO, it may well raise an apparent 'feel good' atmosphere but not specific to our team - nearly all supporters could join in - if they so wished, including opposition fans.
And, it's not really a 'run out' song, IMO.
For in game, to be sung by supporters (not played on P.A. to sing to) I'd prefer something that our players may/can hear and latch on to, "they're singing to get behind us, trying to lift us" type of thing, rather than "they're singing a little ditty because we're boring them or because they're cold". kinda thing.
I've never really understood why we don't use/sing Eye of the Tiger by Survivor to run out to, although at present we're not really rising up to the challenge of our rivals (enough) we do take our time though but often don't take our chances and of late the fight hasn't given us a thrill.
But apart from that........ can only think it's a copyright, or age thing....and it's hard enough to get some to say (let alone sing/shout) TIGERS.....
If that fails and you want a 'feel good' song, getting singing Tiger Feet by Mud.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
