Spencer off to Bath
According to “The Rugby Times,” Will Spencer is off to Bath at the end of the season. No news on May but in other papers news is that Ben Youngs will stay.
Jack Singleton, was believed to be coming to us but now might go to Worcester.

Re: Spencer off to Bath
Think you have the wrong Spencer, I was under the impression that Ben Spencer is going to Bath.

Re: Spencer off to Bath
The Rugby Paper states both Spencers on their way to Bath.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....
Re: Spencer off to Bath
Thanks for putting me right.
Re: Spencer off to Bath
Shame but he hasn’t been a consistent performer and if we are to get back to being a stronger squad we need to get players who are committed for the next 2-3 years.

No great loss, only really shows up when we win & that's before we get to his availability.
If we sign Alemanno it will be a considerable upgrade.

To win is not as important as playing with style!

100%, never bullies the opposition unless we’re already on the front foot. When the chips are down, doesn’t stand up in the pack to be counted. Unlike Taufua, Lavanini, GengeWayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 4:39 pm No great loss, only really shows up when we win & that's before we get to his availability.

Have I missed something it's the first time I have seen Matias Alemanno linked with us?Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 4:39 pm No great loss, only really shows up when we win & that's before we get to his availability.

Re: Spencer off to Bath
To be fair hes had one half decent game since joining us.
Although I can't remember which one that was.
Typically he will re define himself at Barff.

How opinions change, when he first signed on lots of posters thought it was a great signing, now it's reported he's leaving those same posters are giving him a hard time, slagging him off.
not a great signing but no need for the unkind comments.
Good luck to him in the future.

Re: Spencer off to Bath
Personally I don't think he has been a bad player for us, the amount of injuries he's sustained hasn't helped him gather any form either
Will Spencer
Sad to see him go; yet another former Tiger who will play well against us when he comes to Welford Road. How many can you think of?
