Bath will have Ojomoh, Cameron and DeGlanville, all sons of famous players. Interesting to see these next crop of players coming through, with Mallinder and Grayson at Saints as well, Rowntree here. I cant imagine a baby Garforth though.....
Hasn't Mullipola got a small one, with Castro's sister?
Gosh - googled it and he actually has twin sons. A loose and tight head combo in the making!!!

Could do worse if he hasn’t agreed his move back to Worcester and Borthwick feels he can work with himLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 3:18 pmOh I don’t know..... keep hold of Spencer.....strawclearer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 2:26 pm South African lock turns back on Leicester Tigers move

I thought Spencer was going back to Bath? He's been good when fit with a run of games under his belt but that's been so rare in his time here he hasn't hit the heights we'd hoped.Mark62 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 3:57 pmCould do worse if he hasn’t agreed his move back to Worcester and Borthwick feels he can work with himLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 3:18 pmOh I don’t know..... keep hold of Spencer.....strawclearer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 2:26 pm South African lock turns back on Leicester Tigers move

We do need to pick up another lock though Wells has really stepped up again this season. I was hoping we'd go after a bit of a bruiser but we've been linked with Alemmano and Orie which suggests we want someone who can do the business at the lineout.

So with Kalamafomi and Thompson possibly off, will Brink be our only signing in the back row, and place some faith in Lewis, Lavin, Gough and Smith? Or do you think there’ll be another arrival? Taking into account we have Eveleigh a year back, then Illone, Smith and Muncaster a year further back again?
I do wonder if we’ll see Wells utilised as a Liebenberg type big grafting 6, with dynamism from 7/8 in the form of Taufua, Reffell and Brink. Still maybe light another No8, or 7 if we use Taufua at 8. Batley and/or Alemanno coming in to provide presence to lock.

..don't really want to repeat my self ,but Kalamafoni will be a massive loss.We only tend to appreciate what we have when it is gone
Would want a quality direct replacement together with another high class lock (imho).

Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Batley can play 6 and 8 like Slater could. Maybe he'll be used to fill the gaps in the backrow when we need some size. He'd be a good addition if we can tempt him away from Bristol.FrontRowUnionMember wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 6:49 pm So with Kalamafomi and Thompson possibly off, will Brink be our only signing in the back row, and place some faith in Lewis, Lavin, Gough and Smith? It would be a real statement of support for the young lads if Batley and Brink are the only ones to come in that can cover the backrow.

Perhaps need one backrower, but we’ll see how the Development players get on.

Lavanini, Batley?, Martin
Alemanno?, Green, Jordan
Liebenberg, Wells, Lewis, Gough
Taufua, Reffell, Lavin
Brink, Coghlan, Smith
Are we 1 light? Either another 7 with Taufua flexible all across the back row, or a genuine 8 as Brink is equally at home on the flank.
