Scotland V England
Manu out, Watson out. I would expect Mako to start at loose head but I really hope Genge isn't dropped from an England POV.
Also hope Furbank plays better than last week with his debut nerves out the way

I hope Furbank isn't involved him and Daly were both total liabilities under the high ballJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 1:53 pm Manu out, Watson out. I would expect Mako to start at loose head but I really hope Genge isn't dropped from an England POV.

Re: Scotland V England
Players have dropped high balls forever and especially in dodgy weather.
To be fair Furbank has looked a class player for Saints and if he deserves to be dropped after Sunday then Farrell most definitely does.
Hopefully Genge gets a game, if not at 1 then at No8...

Re: Scotland V England
Ken Owens did a job on us from 8 didn't he and Ellis has a lot more muscle, not that he'd be my first choice! Furbank is a special player when he gets going and we need more of that after all these years of Mike Brown's lack of imagination and Daley's lack of skill (in that position).

Genge at 8, if any Coach would do it, it would be Eddie...

Re: Scotland V England
Sometimes I think Jones does what he does just to keep himself amused, there is no logical reason you'd stick with Curry at 8 after last week's performance. Hard to see where the line breaks are going to come from in that team. Heinz is a strange one as well, he's a fine player but not exciting enough to lose the cohesion you get from the Youngs/Ford axis.
Re: Scotland V England
Jones is so stubborn you would think he’s actually English.

Good to see Dunn* and Earl potentially get capped, disappointed by Thorley missing the cut again.
*Dunn is replacing Cowan-Dickie, who left England camp this morning because his wife has gone into Labour.

Time to ship the man back to Oz! We've a 9 with no zip and an 8 who's out of position to give him the ball.CitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 1:37 pm Sometimes I think Jones does what he does just to keep himself amused, there is no logical reason you'd stick with Curry at 8 after last week's performance. Re: Scotland V England
It's just so confusing why our coach thinks the richest, most well supported rugby nation on earth only has one man who can play 8. Vunipola might not get injured as much if Eddie would ever select one of the other four or five form players.

Also in the future struggling to see where Daly fits into the England team. Watson and Malins are arguably better at 15. Nowell, May, Cokanasiga and Thorley are better wingers. Slade and Lozowski are better centres.
