I predicted this would happen... the Saracens fiasco has made its mark into the England camp. England will have to be careful or a repeat of 2018 is on the cards.

Yeah, camp could easily fracture.

I don't believe the Saracens issue had much if any impact on the outcome of this match. Poor selection, poor execution, poor form more probable.
YBY getting hammered on social media seems to be getting a chunk of the blame.

Pretty awful, reminded me of Tigers games. No discernable game plan, side to side for a few phases then hoof the ball away. Lost pretty much every contact at the ruck. Only positive thing I can take from that game is Jonny May saved England from getting nilled. There's quite a few today where that should be their last time in a white shirt with the red rose on it. :smt009
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Just proved the known problems for me:

- Need a solution to whoever plays alongside Itoje
- Need a long term/backup plan for 8 that isn't just shoving a flanker in there
- Put our scrum half options out to pasture and figure out who needs to be brought through
- Lack of decent carry options with Billy & Manu out of the game

Not convinced by Furbank at 15 but it was his debut and not a good day at the office all around, so I'll give him a pass for now.

If it wasn't for the world cup seedings hinging on this Six Nations performance I'd suggest being a bit more aggressive with the changes.

Depressingly accurate, like a load of lads who'd never met playing a county trials game. With Wales on the up and the Irish production line kicking out more potential world beaters it might be a loooong tournament.

Nah I think we can still beat Ireland and Scotland if we get our act together.

I do think the next 4 games might well be make or break for EJ.

Some of the selections yesterday were asking for trouble.

Based on yesterday's evidence he'd probably drop your pass. :smt003. Debut is no excuse. It was Ratez's debut and he scored one try and made another for Olivant.

I like Jones and he’s obviously got credit in the bank from our performance against NZ and getting us to the final.

But talk about our pack looking underpowered and it’s all his fault due to his sheer arrogance in squad selection. Vunipola injured isn’t his fault. But we’ve got Hughes and Dombrandt who’ve been the best 8s in the league. Away from home Hughes should have started. Obano should have been in the squad. Stick Kpoku in as an apprentice player and there you have some power in the team.

Hardly trending! And most of them refer to Eddie Howe at Bournemouth, but never let the facts get in the way of a good story....

Think EJ is hung by the WC seedings otherwise wholesale changes might well have been made. My biggest worries are at 9 (both incumbents need to go) and 8 (stop playing 6/7s there!). Genge has earned a start and Sinckler a temporary drop. We have a lot of talent out there that needs to be involved.

Two defeats don't suddenly make this a bad team. France were brilliant first half and made the most of English errors.

England had no problem getting up the pitch and into the French 22, they just made silly errors when they got there. A specialist number 8 wouldn't have fixed that. Hughes has been awful for England when given the opportunity, so I don't understand why he is now the answer.

The problem on sunday was players not playing as well as they can, and that suggests distractions and lack of focus.
