It is possible that it has unsettled the Saracens players. Certainly Dylan Hartley before the game didn't seem impressed with the affair.

Re: France v England
My word. England have been absolutely diabolical in that half. This one is done.

Only George Ford looks really focussed and again England, as so often under Eddie Jones, look like they are exhausted after too many physical training sessions.
Best rugby today was Quins v a weak Exeter side.
As for Manu, seems the rumours he had picked up an injury in training were true: so Tigers look after him and Jones doesn’t.
As for Borthwick: like v S.Africa in the World Cup Final, the forwards have poor line out skills and discipline poor.
Sean Edwards again sorts a defence out.

Certainly looks like France have learnt a lot from the World Cup final. Doing everything right so far.

Credit were credit is due. Didn’t expect Shaun Edwards to ingrain his defensive systems and mentality into the French team so quickly.
As for England....H.O.R.R.O.R...S.H.O.W...

The French defence has been good but equally England have done nothing to worry them. Just bash into contact until someone inevitably knocks it on. Really poor.

Re: France v England
A definition of cheat is “ a person who behaves dishonestly in order to gain an advantage.” I don’t see how that applies to Nige and the TMO. It needs to be clear and obvious to overturn the original on-field decision.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 3:30 pm if the Ref and TMO are going to cheat you like that then you make as well forfeit the game and save yourself from the injuries
Though not having a ball carrying 8 is entirely our own fault
You need to give credit to France (and Sean Edwards ) for great defence and low error count creating pressure.
Re: France v England
We need a ball carrier. 17-0 down might as well give Gengey a go.

Re: France v England
Way too slow recycling, giving the French time to re-calibrate every time.
Really need something from this scrum.

Re: France v England
man in an offside position tackles Joseph and stops him scoring, why is that not a penalty try?
