Last nights development match
I see they picked up a close win away to Worcester, an excellent result for what looked to be on paper quite an inexperienced side.
Did any posters attend? Were there any standout performances?

Re: Last nights development match
Looks like there was more action in the bar than on the pitch judging by the following comment from the match report on the Tigers website:
Scrum-half Van Poortvliet showed his pace in defence as he raced back to dot down behind the tryline from a kick through by the Warriors with Tigers still four pints in arrears.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

A scrum half having to neck 4 pints he’d be comatose afterwardsvoice of the crumbie wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 3:52 pm Looks like there was more action in the bar than on the pitch judging by the following comment from the match report on the Tigers website:

Re: Last nights development match
As usual Worcesters' Twitter feed was on the money throughout the game. They were breathing a sigh of relief at half time to be in front. Second half we had them under a lot of pressure to gain a decent lead. just as well as in the dying seconds we conceded a penalty try and had two binned! So Tigers would have phewed!
Re: Last nights development match
Jack van Poortvliet was picked for the England u20 6 Nations squad as well - alongside Whitecombe, Martin and Steward. Seems like another 9 off the production line to look out for.
Re: Last nights development match
van Poortvliet, sounds like he had a good game last night.
Formerly of Burbaaage (not Inkleh), now up north at uni
