That was 6 points before kick off though.. moving in the wrong direction sadly!
Although ironically top 4 has stayed the same.
Was a big chance to actually put ourselves in a playoff push.

Hardwick isn't the answer for 10 IMO.
Good player but he plays too much like a 12 IMO.

From what I have just watched Glaws will be plummeting down the league unless Cips comes back.

11 points will take us (at the current rate) 9 matches to achieve. Hopefully no one above us gets any points in the meantime :smt044

I know what he can't do.....get here soon enough. That was dross, looks like many sitting back saying "We won't be relegated so it doesn't matter".

Imagine being 12th at the end of the season, by a country mile at this rate, and only not going down because someone else cheated and you sat back on your haunches out of comfort.

Averaging 1.3 points per game....... we'll need the Millennium Falcon to catch up before much longer.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

Not what I'd call encouraging for the 6N period really. It would be nice not to tread water through another wasted season but it is what it is, better things on the horizon.

Well not the worst game I've seen Tigers play recently but still the same clueless game overall. Same old approach produces same old result but things never change.

Fowards put in a decent shift, especially Wells, but the lineout remains a shambles, at least Borthwick should be able to improve that. Do they still practice in the week or is Tom farming Monday to Friday?

Backs generally clueless, no idea what to do so hoof it away and defend (poorly). Without May no real threat at all. Need a new attack and defence coach now - do we even have one at the moment?

Shame Murphs wasn't shown the door this week, not sure what he'd do as DoR, maybe fill a few forms in?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

100 seconds to go we need a score so we box kick and don't touch the ball again. Ingenious!

For all the talk of how we should go all out to keep May I do think it highlights how having so many backs in the England squad seriously hampers us at times.

Did Simmons get on, if not, why not? SHs don't do 80+ mins, that's the second time! Is summat up there? I'm starting to think so! :smt013

Exactly. We've built a squad that needs to be in a great league position by the end of January otherwise it's in trouble.

Your non-home-international players are the ones that get you into the playoffs, and the internationals are there to help you win the playoffs. The likes of May are luxuries if you're confident that the rest of your squad is good enough.

Sarries (cheating aside) get into the playoffs because of the likes of Goode, Barrett, Lozowski, Wray and Rhodes. They win the playoffs because of Farrell, Itoje etc.

Maybe Simmons didn't come on because White played well and the more experienced player was seen as the right one to get through a tight 10/15 minutes at the end.
