Green and Thompson ruled out this weekend
Thompson is becoming a bit of an injury liability, much like his time at the pests. Is it one of the weeks Taute is going to take to the field? Both good players but not great availability sadly

I'd imagine Taute and Eastmond will start in the centre. That seems to have been the preferred pairing in the absence of Manu

Before the Pau match GM said "Hanro Liebenberg is still out, Guy Thompson is still struggling with his neck and Nephi Leatigaga got a bang on the shoulder at the weekend" so I didn't think that these 3 would figure.

The scrummaging front row and heavy pack should suit this game. Bath’s pitch is rubbish and lends itself to a slug match. Given the lineups really hoping we can pull off a win here.

Our pack does look suited for the conditions - the forecast is dry, but the pitch may already be a bit soggy. Hopefully we won't get caught out like we were against Pau, preparing for an arm wrestle and not getting it. Bath perhaps have an advantage with the half backs, but Hardwick and White have been given plenty of experience over the last 12 months and if they can put in a solid performance we should be right in this one.

Both sides have a few weak spots and a few top players. It will probably come down to how the "weaker" players perform for their teams.

Too even to call this one, both teams have roughly equal experience and x factor scattered about. Does anybody know what's happened to Viljoen? Seems to have dropped off the map.

Played for the development side at Worcester. Not living up to expectations I believe

Very pleased to see Hardwick get the nod over Reid. We're going with the player in-form.

Hardwick being a much better goal kicker must help too

Slight concern over Thompson.
Wonder what contract talks are like currently.

Yep. This is young Hardwick’s opportunity. Time to deliver.
