'Wolfpack' my backside, money talks! Weren't we always accused of 'cheating', now the boot is well and truly on the other foot!
Can imagine they'll get some hostile receptions at certain away grounds!

I wonder if the full report will be published or just the punishment, I have to say a guilty verdict does potentially bring the integrity of the competition into question, for how long have Saracens been breaking the rules and why were they allowed to break the rules for that long.

You then have the question of would Saracens have won their titles without the cheating, I imagine if a champion team was subsequently found to have been doping or using performance enhancing drugs en masse they would have their titles stripped but for some reason the same doesn't apply here? :smt017

I feel much better knowing I wasn't just looking down my nose at Sarries out of jealousy, they actually were cheating! Be nice if they had their titles removed and given to the team that actually earned them fairly.

+1 :smt023
Other sports persons have their titles taken away if found cheating.

So in theory how does this work?
Is fine and points deduction the end of the matter?
Do they now field the same squads or do they have to let players go?
Do they "Keep Calm Carry On" and hope their isn't another review? :smt017 :smt017

That has made my day!!! I'd love to see a pitchside interview with Sanderson now.

Should there be sanctions directly aimed at the individual players?
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

Players in
England Elliot Daly from England Wasps
Wales Rhys Carré from Wales Cardiff Blues
England Jack Singleton from England Worcester Warriors
England Alex Day from England Cornish Pirates
England Josh Ibuanokpe from England Harlequins
Wales Sam Wainwright from Wales RGC 1404
England Alistair Crossdale promoted from Academy
England Dominic Morris promoted from Academy
Players out
France Christopher Tolofua to France Toulon
England Reuban Bird-Tulloch to England Northampton Saints
Tonga Sione Vailanu to England Wasps
England Hayden Thompson-Stringer to France Brive
England David Strettle retired
England Henry Taylor to England Northampton Saints
England Billy Walker to England Nottingham
England Oli Morris to England Worcester Warriors
England Tom Griffiths to Wales Dragons
England Alfie Scopes to England Loughborough Students
England Alex Gliksten to England Bedford Blues
Wales Dominic Day to United States San Diego Legion
Argentina Marcelo Bosch to England Burton
South Africa Schalk Burger released
Ireland Tadgh McElroy released

Maybe a small net saving in the summer dealings. I imagine next summer they will have to hack down the squad to being it into line. Players like Koch and Liam Williams to be sacrificed. Barrett's retirement could be likely. I suppose the problem is we don't know how far over they are.

No, the players are not to blame. They are offered a contract and they have accepted, it is not their job to balance the books and meet the salary cap regulations.
