Taufua? He is he has. At the Crusaders he and Douglas alternated at 6 and covered 8 when Reid was unavailable. Todd was the openside.

I see no reason why he can't play 7 considering how well he targets the breakdown. I suspect I'm not the only one who'd like to see him and Guy Thompson in tandem creating havoc.

Nope, not at Super Rugby level & not by choice for Tasman, he is like Craig Newby in that he is better than most at 7 but he isn't a natural one.

Need to get a point tomorrow or we're away in the quarters.

So Castres have beaten Worcester 33-27 meaning they top the group on 23.

With Tigers currently on 22 the minimum requirement is now a LBP or 4T BP.

Castres have a points difference of 56 and we are currently on 93 so we should edge them on this stat I believe if it’s all square, not sure about tries scored.

I imagine Bristol and Toulon will win tomorrow thus securing the top 2 rankings. Bordeaux-Begles are way ahead on PD and will most likely get something on the road against Wasps.

So if I’m not mistaken, pick up a point away to Pau tomorrow and we have a home QF against Castres, leave with nothing and we are away to the same opposition.

If we win and Bordeaux-Begles lose then we will be 3rd seeds and will most likely be home to Edinburgh.

It’s fairly late and I’ve had a few beers so that might be a load of nonsense but think it makes sense!

Long story short we should be facing Castres, Bordeaux or Edinburgh depending on how tomorrow’s results pan out.

No easy games at this stage but a home QF vs Castres has to be the preferred option. Would ideally like to avoid Bordeaux-Begles and Edinburgh if possible

5 minutes gone, Pau score second try.... this might be worse than Castres away

Well we could get a lot of a pasting. We look lacklustre and off the pace. Almost back to the start of the season with no kick chase and poor tackling.
There is never any points for 2nd place...

Claim for a no arms tackle from Manu, ref carries on. Pau score their second try but it really did look like their ball carrier was in touch right under the Asst ref's nose when Manu tackled him.

Everybody stopped for a second on the 2nd try because it definitely looked like the Pau player was in touch

Kicking the ball away with no, or little, chase to start with. With Ben Smith at 15 for Pau that is an extremely bad idea.
