Granted on current form we might not lose the same England contingent that went to the WC but assuming that we do, we will be short handed once again for the following games:

*potentially away training:

25 Jan 20 - Bath (A)

15 Feb 20 - Wasps (H)
21 Feb 20 - Sale (A)
29 Feb 20 - Worcester (H)
08 Mar 20 - Sarries (A)

*potentially rested post 6N:

21 Mar 20 - Exeter (A)

Can’t see us getting much away to Bath sadly and back to back away matches in Mar vs Sarries and Exeter is extremely tough. We might have the lads back for the Exeter game although they may be rested, let’s hope they are available.

That makes the Wasps, Sale and Worcester games must win matches (although given our current position you could argue they are all must win games!)

Injuries permitting, Squad wise I'm thinking:

1. Bateman
2. Youngs
3. Leatigaga
4. Lavanini
5. Spencer
6. Kalumafoni
7. Taufua
8. Liebenberg
9. White
10. Reid
11. Olowafela
12. Hardwick
13. Taute
14. Holmes
15. Veainu

16. TPN
17. Gigena
18. Heyes
19. Green
20. Thompson
21. Simmons
22. Thompstone
23. Worth

scratch Holmes from that squad now
Just seen that.. great for him, not so good for Tigers!

At least Olowafela is playing well albeit a little weak in defense and Hughes has looked promising in the little time he’s been with us.

Might be released for games if he doesn’t make the match day squad too.

Premiership don’t have to release any national players other than English as no agreement in place.
That’s obviously for non game weekends

Thanks didn't realise that. Surely if he's called up to train with the squad he will go.. well, if he's likely to be in the match-day squad for the opening game that is... I guess time will tell.

On a more positive note that must apply to Holmes too then :smt023

I didn't know why the selection of Will Griff John almost made JP14 laugh, then I realised it was because he knew I would be at Bath and other Tiger's matches. I could have covered all the front row positions for Wales were it not for the fact I was born in Leicester and despite the name no known connection to Wales. There is also a small matter of age and when younger a lack of talent so Wales had to make do with the Pontypool front row instead.

Holmes might be in the squad but its far from certain he'll actually play and not be released back to Tigers

Faletau might train anyway, it’s in his contract that he can train with Wales when called up, Bath have twice paid fines for this.

Genge, Youngs, Ford, Tuilagi and May called up to England squad for 6N.

Cole has not been called up so will be available for Tigers.

Looks like Bath will be missing 6 at the weekend if you count Dunn who’s listed as a Chief.
With their red card at the weekend they will be short in depth at hooker
