Bristol game 4th Jan now at 1pm

Post by TigerBoy1880 »

Just received an email from Tigers announcing that the game against Bristol on Saturday 4th January has been moved to 1pm due to Leicester City’s FA Cup tie at 5:31pm on the same day.

Just one of those unfortunate things. Police and council won’t let the 2 clubs play at the same time, I’d imagine they’re on the telly tigers aren’t ipso facto Tigers get moved

Oh I completely understand. I wasn’t moaning. In fact, I’d have preferred it to change to a Friday or Sunday as I can’t attend on the Saturday. I’m surprised police have allowed both games to be played on the same day!

With the later kick off for the city, one crowd should be clearing while the other assembles. Don’t think it would have been permitted with a 3 pm kickoff

Do you think we'll get a crowd??
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

Can we all have a whip round to pay for your tickets, home and away, until the end of the season? 😂

As far as I'm aware Leicester City aren't on TV that day, I would also suspect they won't get a full house either, both cannot play at home any more, not until LCC actually does something to help the traffic in that area

I’m a season ticket holder, and my luck was bad last year (I was at the home games against Bristol, Bath etc) I was just taking the mick and I understand you were too.
