Post by WiggoTiger »

Is there any one who's bothering to show up for this non event?? Will be the second string, few spectators and no atmosphere.

Sorry. The first team ( whatever that is) has to play the next two games to get into form.
Tigers can rest players later when we’ve won the next 5 games.

Something like
1. Genge
2. Kerr
3. Cole
4. Lavanini
5. Green
6. Lewis
7. Thompson
8. Taufua (Maybe)
9. White
10. Ford
11. Forsyth
12. Hardwick
13. Tuilagi
14. May
15. Steward

16. Clare
17. Leatigaga
18. Heyes
19. Wells
20. Coghlan
21. Simmons
22. Costelow
23. Taute

These games fall into the CBA category.

Agreed RB, reward the youngsters who actually look promising.

Is Reffell not due back soon?

I'd be happy with Cam Jordan on the bench.

Geordie said in his RL post match interview that Jonah Holmes injury looks like an MCL. With the injury issues in the back three deepening I would be happy with Joe Browning or Leo Gilliland getting a chance.

Why Green in the second row? Contributes little around the pitch and after yesterday his line out expertise must be questioned?

I would argue it was throwing and lifters.

Agreed - if the ball is thrown 6ft from the centre or chucked 10ft beyond the line out then we could have Eales, Johnson, Croft, Mead in their heyday or any other world class lock and they’d still be shipping tries and conceding scrums.

We conceded 3 tries from line outs, 2 were abstract throws, one could be argued as being a combination of throw and lifters.

I might go just for the rare opportunity to maybe see us score some tries. Our 1990s attacking patterns might actually work on Italy's third best team.

That's what we did against Pau. Didn't seem to matter much against Saints.
