Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
when stuff like that happens I start to wonder whether a match fixing investigation needs to take place (slight hyperbole), the sheer absentmindedness of it is baffling
Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
What an absolute shambles Tigers are, the only we they'll get off 11th position is when Saffas eventually overhaul them.
Murphs has to go - I've been saying it for over a year now.

Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Well that was the nail in the coffin. What a complete mess. This whole game is a mess for us. I am pro Murphy and wouldn’t want anyone to lose their job but the stats show just how utterly poor we are. Shame as I thought we could do something today.
The calls for Murphys head will be deafening now I feel.

There is never any points for 2nd place...
Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
We are so narrow both attack and defence
Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
Defence AWOL. Tackles a case of "After You"
Line out a shambles.
Looking at the teams only a handful of their players would get into our side yet they are thumping us.
Are we going to wait for relegation before changes are made?

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
If the team with the most ball is likely to win the game (not always, of course!), but generally, then if you want to lose the game, why not keep giving it to them? It helps, and is definitely helping today. (I am not suggesting we are trying to lose BTW).
But If you lose a game, it's not necessarily because one is rubbish, one might be unlucky. But as I type this, we are rubbish, and I can see no hope for us, either now, or in the weeks ahead. What on earth has happened to us? How has this come about?

I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

The kicking must be a tactic, who thought it would be a good idea?

Saints not only outplaying is but outthinking is. 2 experienced World Cup finalists at 9 and 10 constantly kicking the ball down the throat of Saints players whilst they are a man down. Meanwhile they kick to the corners to run the clock down
Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
Defence not so much gone awol as their feet and power are beating us every time
Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
We have a BoD who keep appointing coaches who arent up to the job which I would strongly suggest that they (the BoD) arent either.Phil B wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 4:26 pm If the team with the most ball is likely to win the game (not always, of course!), but generally, then if you want to lose the game, why not keep giving it to them? Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November
After four tries against (the last during a man advantage) I am unsure I can keep watching. Whatever the game plan was, I am unsure that kicking continually to Saints backs is the right idea. They must think Christmas has come early! Boyd has certainly done an excellent job coaching Saints.

So which excuse will Murphy use this week - perm one of three. When will he go???
