Again your lack of knowledge over the injuries caused by artificial pitches never ceases to amaze but still you’re entitled to your own opinion.
The answer I suppose is that I’ve never heard of a player being advised not to play on a grass pitch due to previous injuries but there are an increasing number of players being advised not to play on artificial surfaces.
I’m sure they all laid with care as you would expect a product costing hundreds of thousands of pounds, but just as all grass pitches vary in quality so do artificial pitches

There is no evidence across any study of repute that there is an increased risk of injury playing on an artificial pitch compared to a natural pitch.

Perception is very different and there may be reasons why they exist but the science to date is very clear.

You can check with University of Sheffield, Loughborough, independent test labs for sport etc, they will all say the above.

I take your point, but I have seen injuries occur on artificial pitches that would not have occurred or been as severe on a grass surface, and it is documented that players with certain injuries, knee and ankle ate advised not to play on them due to less give in the surface.
My own feeling is that the way forward is the hybrid pitch such as a welford road.

Keep the bulk of the team that started against Pau and integrate/bring in some others, such as Taute and Genge, who need game time, but keep it sufficiently minimal to retain the game plan However, keep in mind resting players after Saints for the Italy games:

I'll be there to cheer the boys; on meeting up with some welsh mates from our playing days in the 70's.
