Having kicked to touch in our 22m and juggled the lineout, LI knock on at the back of the ensuing maul.

Tigers scrum just outside our 22.

The players could have said ‘No, I want to play’. Perhaps they were asked, perhaps they weren’t. We don’t know. White and Slade certainly making a difference for Exeter.....

Forsyth makes a great break, but the (poor) pass inside is knocked on by Reid...

Nothing seems joined up at all.

Sounds like a complete mess, Murphy needs to go, Pat Howard in for the interim?

This is what the footballers call a six-pointer. How dreadfully demoralising looking at the performance. Poor defence, little attacking ideas. New player already off with another HIA. If the returning players don't have the impact we want, another frustrating and worrying season ahead of us.

No major disrespect to LI but we have made them look far better than they are. Fair play though, they've been inventive and taken their chances.

TBP in the bag for them.

66 mins

LI 29-6 Tigers

Into last 10 mins, still 23 points adrift on the scoreboard but far far further adrift than that in reality.

LI on the attack again after a panicked clearance by us.

Hmmm. I can’t think of any reason with the World Cup over and he was coming why it wouldn’t have been announced by now. What would be the point in waiting?

Tigers get a scrum around our own 22m line, a further penalty to tigers and a LI yellow card (not before time)
