Northampton vs Quins
Watching Northampton vs Quins game, saints playing quick positive off loading game, we are miles away from playing to that standard, they have just got a try bonus point with only 36 minutes play. Just goes to show how sides can play with top class coaching.
Chris Boyd is the type of coach we should employing, Murphy not in the same league as him and it’s about time the board realise this and terminate his employment. Our coaching is becoming an embarrassment.

But at least it gives you the chance to start another disparaging thread......
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

The commentary team are banging on about Vesty more. Maybe it’s due to him that they are playing the way they play. After all, he is the Attack Coach.BigDan50 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 8:35 pm Watching Northampton vs Quins game, saints playing quick positive off loading game, we are miles away from playing to that standard, they have just got a try bonus point with only 36 minutes play. We couldn’t possible bring Vesty back to Tigers though, simply based on the fact that he used to be a Tiger. That doesn’t work. Apparently.

Re: Northampton vs Quins
What if they did something crazy......like employ Borthwick......would he do?
Re: Northampton vs Quins
Northwick is a good forward coach but an unproven head coach, we will see.

Borthwick.

He is proving he’s a decent head coach in the premiership after a couple of seasons, what’s Murphy proved as a coach in all the time he has been coaching us.

Been very impressed with Grayson and Painter, could see them playing for England. Will be fighting it out with Marcus Smith and Heyes respectively.
As well as good coaching Saints rise back up the table is by and large down to their academy producing some very good players. Premiership standard lads who won’t let them down like Moon, Painter, Dingwall and Collins.
Feel like we’re maybe a few years away from this. The likes of Martin, Lavin, Gough and Thom Smith will all come good in the forwards, just a matter of time and patience.
