Spencer (chest) and Eastmond (calf) haven't trained this week so unlikely to be available.
Reffell (chest) and Thompson both picked up knocks, touch and go.
Lavanini in the frame for this weekend.
Tom Youngs is training after his HIA and should be available against Gloucs.
Polota-Nau is back from suspension and available for selection.

Re: Injury updates in the Merc
If Reffell and Thompson both miss out then it's going to be a tough afternoon against the Gloucester back row.
6.Liebenberg 7.Coghlan 8.Kalamafoni
20.Boladau or Lewis
Guess we'd be looking at something like that. Should offer a lot carrying but Ackermann, Kriel, Ludlow, Polledri, Clarke and Morgan were all in the Gloucester squad last weekend. It's a very strong back row and Ackermann Snr will likely stack the bench again to get the most impact out of them.

Urgh, just keeps getting better doesn't it. At least our depth is a little bit better than last year so we're not completely defenceless.
Re: Injury updates in the Merc
Liebenberg, Coghlan and Kalamafoni is still a pretty decent backrow, the second row pairing of Green and Lavanini could be a brilliant partnership.

Spoke to Will Spencer after the Gloucester match - he's hoping against hope to be fit for next week but thinks the following week is more realistic.
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

Re: Injury updates in the Merc
Hope he’s back soon. Had his injury problems but think he could be really big for us this season. He’s the sort of enforcer that’s could be massive off the bench for the last 20 minutes and get us over the gainline. Said he was really looking forward to pairing with Tomas Lavanini - be interesting to see how Geordan uses his second-row options.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 2:57 pmHope he’s back soon.
