Solid. Some good line-out takes, had a presence in defence. Unfortunately the scrum was a mess all around so the Lavanini/Spencer powerhouse 2nd row wasn't obvious. Stayed on for the full 80 minutes though, I think. Good signs all in all.

Good that he stayed on when Gigenia went off means he’s getting more understanding.
Strength in depth at lock still a weakness for me, as others have stated Spencer seems to have stagnated and for me Wells and Green will never be more than decent premiership locks.
Maybe the rumoured coaching arrival will sort things out, or given the comparative strength in the back row is it worth giving Liebenberg a go in the row

Not always easy to understand the big mans Instagram feed as it’s in Spanish, but judging from the photo he has just posted he’s going to be a Dad.

Makes me smile how Crane is teaching his lad to jackel and tackle, and he’ll be playing tag for 3 or 4 years
