Hardwick should be playing 10 and Reid 12 - their preferred pisitions I believe - and based on last weeks game. Any coach that doesn’t see that is dumb. Another week with zero points IMHO.

Hartley, Mitchell and Mallinder are injured, admittedly forgot about Reinach and Tuala but Proctor and Franks were just doing the same as Taufua was.

Murphys career in coaching hinges on the next two weeks. Lose all 4 and he has to go . Especially as match No 5 that counts is Stains, who are in a different league coaching wise.

It's fortunate for Geordie that he's getting big players back over the next few weeks. Lavanini and Veainu today. Potentially Genge for off the bench next week as he'll be dying for game time. Taufua will hopefully come onto the bench in the Challenge Cup games as well.

It's sounding like Borthwick will come in as head coach anyway so the decisions may have been made already.

Is injured not the same as missing?
Also people talk about us missing Taufua in the same way rightly so.

It's all cap that is not available.

I just assumed you meant the World Cup, not just missing in general.

I take back what I said about Wells in the week, playing very well in the pack. Some big carries from Leatigaga, all of the forwards have fronted up!

Lovely break by Olowofela splitting the defence apart but Veainu dropped the ball in their 22, should have been a try.

I often feel Wells performs far better starting than off the bench. Some players, particularly in the tight 5, need time to play themselves into a game. Getting into a game from the bench can be especially difficult if your loose forwards have been going backwards all game.

Agreed, when he started against Exeter two seasons ago and we won he was exceptional around the park and at the breakdown.

Back three also looks much more threatening ball in hand, much more pace.

Well that's the best half of rugby I've seen from Tigers on a while. A second half like that and I'll be a very happy Tigers fan.

We do need to be more clinical in attack but the defence and structure is miles ahead of what we saw last season. Physicality is much improved.

The effect of Telusa drawing attention of the defence away from the others in the back three. We missed him so much last season, great seeing him back in the squad.

Once May is back from his necessary rest post World Cup we can hopefully rotate the two of them alongside younger players such as Olowofela.

play like that with the England backs in the team we get a bonus point win with some of the missed chances converted.

Hamilton on Comms seemed to want to blame Olowofela for not holding the ball all the time but in my view the no look pass he only did as he was already being tackled and would have ended up in touch had he held it, also the pass from the quick line out was right decision.
