Have always been a huge fan of Sam, who has never failed to bring spark and vitality to games, and his love of the shirt meant so much to fans. Good luck and very best wishes to you and your family Mr. Harrison!

Sam has been an excellent servant to Tigers. The solidity he offered with Youngs away on international duty was a hallmark of Tigers strength of years gone by. At his best he also offered a tactical difference to Youngs with his rapid service and bullet pass.
His form has dipped over the last two seasons and with two very talented 9s coming through it seems good timing for both parties. I don't think Sam has ever hidden the fact he loves surfing even more than rugby so a move to Australia's beaches will probably be wonderful for him and his young family as he moves to the next stage in his life.
