Talk is cheap , but it does provide leverage and add zero's to contracts....RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 1:21 pm My personal feeling is that Moriarty is going to be used in negations with another player that may or may not have been named.

I can't see it happening to be honest. There's no denying that we need a number 8, but can't see it being Moriarty. The sort of money he would want would be relatively sizeable and with that would come the risk that 'Gatland's Law' is rescinded and we end up losing him for the 6N/AIs/summer tours. I'd rather look at a southern hemisphere 8 who we will have all year round. Just MHO, of course.kk20gb30 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 10:33 amTalk is cheap , but it does provide leverage and add zero's to contracts....RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 1:21 pm My personal feeling is that Moriarty is going to be used in negations with another player that may or may not have been named.

Someone the welsh want playing in Wales? Holmes or, more likely, Reffell?POSTIGER wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 5:41 pmI agree. Speculation is a wonderful thing and passes the time over a pipe or two.... so a little deductive reasoning suggests that by eliminating the impossible whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Thus,Holmes and Moriarty in tandem would represent a formidable force indeed ; now if we could get Watson back fit and firing and willing to join the fray and perhaps bring over Lestrade from Aviron Bayonnais we could have the makings of some lineup for next season, especially if the rumor of Moran helping out on the medical side the renewed interest in Jones comes to fruition.loretta wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 8:10 amSomeone the welsh want playing in Wales? I'm not sure what is in your pipe but I wouldn't mind some because I hardly followed a word of that.kk20gb30 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 9:26 amSpeculation is a wonderful thing and passes the time over a pipe or two.... so a little deductive reasoning suggests that by eliminating the impossible whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Thus,Holmes and Moriarty in tandem would represent a formidable force indeed ; now if we could get Watson back fit and firing and willing to join the fray and perhaps bring over Lestrade from Aviron Bayonnais we could have the makings of some lineup for next season, especially if the rumor of Moran helping out on the medical side the renewed interest in Jones comes to fruition.
