A strong finisher with an impressive strike rate, criminally overlooked by the ABs. One to get excited about for sure!

Indeed, but our recruitment was pretty good last year so I'm choosing to be optimistic!

Further down the page is the following:

WORCESTER WARRIORS are poised to swoop on relegation-threatened Leicester Tigers to take Will Spencer back to Sixways next season.
Spencer, 27, moved to Welford Road two years ago but could make the return when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
The Oxford-born lock started his career with Bath and then had a loan spell with London Welsh before his two-year stint in Worcestershire.
During his first stint with the Warriors in 2017, Spencer was called up into an England training squad by Eddie Jones.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if he did leave. We've had him injured more often than available and I'd imagine doesn't give us great value for money

Does Spencer fit into that basket of the idea of him in the side is better than the reality of him in the side?

A bit like Mike Williams.

Worcester seeming to distance themselves from signing Spencer?

No loss on Spencers form since he was here. Tigers used to be the most feared pack in the UK. Dont think this guy would get in the Tigers Top 12 packs of all time...

I expected more of Spencer, given the form he was in when he joined us. I thought we had an England international on our hands.

He hasn't been helped by injury and being part of a poor-performing side.

Agreed. Never seems to quite make the impact I’d expect. A bit like Jim Hamilton when he was here, to be honest.
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….
