Holmes falls off a tackle on Hill for the first try. He should do better.

Saints can keep their 20 stone winger, he drops as many as he catches and isn't great in defence. More Vainakolo than Alex T. All the good wing monsters get signed up by the French teams on big money.
No he doesn't.
That was Ben White and George Worth
Isn't that the second try?
Nope.

Only just got round to watching this, pretty dire match between the likely two relegation contenders. I'm afraid it's going to be a re-run of last season at this rate. :smt009

After one game with 10 of our best players missing you forecast a relegation battle.

Saracens will be shaken somewhat from their loss to Northampton too, it will be an interesting game on Sunday.

...and those were his good bits! Just a dire and sub standard performance all over for a starting Prem SH, mixed in with the sort of petulance that will ultimately get pinged or a decision turned over. In his defence he is 4th choice SH elevated to starting because Ben is away, Shazam leaving, Simmo returning from serious injury. Also some of the ball at the base was often a mess.

Poor performance, but with so many at RWC compared to Worcester it was never going to be easy.

Will reserve judgement for now, rather than jumping into hyperbole.

Must have missed that over the summer - when is Harrison going and where to?

Given recent seasons history I'll have cause for optimism when there is cause for optimism.

I guess what is eminently disappointing is that we have had the "advantage" of an extra long pre-season, 4 pre-season games and yet we still don't seem to have the cohesion that would be expected and required. Hopefully the weekend was just a one off aberration.
