Poor in every facet of the game, scrum and lineout got worse as we went on. No positives for me to take away from that.

Not pretty, but fixable. Missing 15 players didn't help, but there were some really basic mistakes - we weren't looking to play at all in the first half, we didn't use our subs (why have Gigena, Coughlan, and Forsyth on the bench when the starters are shattered?), and we missed our kicks.

Viljoen was good (although crazy to start him in his first game), as was OTY, Hanro, Guy, Holmes, and Reid.

Logged on hoping to see some upbeat news
......need not have bothered. Sounds like Tigers are beginning this campaign as they ended the last?

Unless anyone saw different??

You can’t also say Worcester played well either because they didn’t. Both teams were rubbish, yet when the chips were down, they managed to bag the points when we missed countless kicks at goal.

Only heard the game on the radio, but it didn’t sound like it was much different from last week (or indeed last season). Long season ahead I am afraid if we get beaten like this by Worcester :smt022

That's 5 games in a row we've lost to the weakest (on paper) team in the league.

Let's hope there's one team worse again!

I’m not saying we’re doomed yet but i’m shocked at the lack of a gameplan, how crucial would it have been for our season if we had won against our bogey team, the :censored: team in the league!

Where is the team from Exeter?

TBF Worcester are not the weakest team in reality though.
Reality is most likely Tigers, Bath, Wasps, Irish will all be weaker in terms of game plan than Worcester.

Forwards I though improved from last season.
Backs, went from being aggressive runners in the PRC to passive kickers for whatever reason.

Like the coaching staff had a way of playing in mind for the PRC with no pressure to not wanting to risk it.

We looked like a team trying not to lose again.

I realise we’ve a no. 10 still in Japan, but kicking seems to now be a weakness...?
